A very DCA Christmas
DC Alliance (DCA) kicked off Christmas celebrations on the 9th of December marking the end of the year, celebrating with friends, colleagues, and partner’s at DCA’s Christmas Sundowner. The event took place at Perth City Farm, set amongst a canopy of mulberry and fruit trees. Guests enjoyed the night with catering from ZekiBerk’s Perth Authentic Singapore Satay, free-flowing Aperol spritz, cold DCA brew and the Chicho Gelato Cart. Some were even lucky enough to go up against Albert, DCA’s own Jenga master!
The team at DC Alliance were very busy leading up to the night! On Tuesday they made hampers for their lovely customers, on Wednesday Montana, Renee, Madeleine, and Albert bottled the infamous DCA Brew that was enjoyed on the night, and on the day, the DCA team put together the event decor. A big thank you to the team at Pearman’s Electrical Services for their continued work at DCA throughout the year and for installing the festoon lighting for all to enjoy on the night.
Now, what is DCA event without delicious food? Smoke filled the air as husband-and-wife duo Fiona and Farid prepared fresh chicken and beef satay, with the help of their sons Zeki and Berk, for all the enjoy! But it didn’t just stop at satay, there was also homemade spring rolls, curry puffs, fried rice and Singaporean noodles that kept everyone full and happy. The food received positive reviews from all, with many commenting on their homemade satay (DCA’s Albert Wong is eager to try their even spicier version too!). If you are ever craving real authentic satay, visit ZekiBerk’s Facebook to find where they’ll be next.
As many of you may already know, DCA launched our Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, the DCAres program earlier this year, nominating the Autism Academy for Software Quality Assurance (AASQA) as our beneficiary charity for 2021. We have been overwhelmed with the support for this important cause from our clients and partners throughout this year. We were lucky enough to have prizes donated to the AASQA raffle from Lumineer Adventure Tours for the Family Lumineers voucher to the Pinnacles and Megaport donating the Weber Go-Anywhere BBQ.
The AASQA raffle prizes were drawn by Professor Tele Tan, Director of AASQA. Congratulations to the prize winners Moh Yakub from Zettagrid taking home the family voucher to the Pinnacles with Lumineer Adventure Tours, Lachlan Britt from Infinitum Technologies winning the Weber Go-anywhere BBQ donated by Megaport as well as a spot on the DCA Whiskey Tour, Ni Zheng from DCA who won a spot on the DCA Whiskey Tour, Arnold Wong from the Australian Computer Society (ACS) who won a hamper and Mark Ryan from DCA who won a hamper.

The team at DC Alliance wish you all a very (DCA) merry Christmas! Thank you for all your support in 2021, we look forward to seeing you all in the new year!
