DCA's 1YO party
DC Alliance’s First Anniversary Celebration
Last Thursday night DC Alliance (DCA) celebrated their first anniversary with a “1 YO Party”. Joining DCA at their event were clients, partners, and friends from new and old relationships. It was fantastic to see so many people eager to celebrate DCA’s milestone.
The night kicked off with soulful acoustics from Trevor Jalla and light refreshments supplied by local businesses, Brew U, Rustico Gourmet and Margaret River Beverages. A more substantial meal, supplied by the Baolicious food truck, consisted of delicious photo-worthy bao buns. There were compliments all around, and many went back for seconds.
On display throughout the event was a slideshow of DCA’s “Year in Review” that showcased past events like the Lantern Festival on the Swan, which supported the Autism Academy for Software Quality Assurance (AASQA), and the most recent event, the 2021 WA IT Leadership Summit. DCA has had a very eventful first year.
Natalie and Albert gave a welcome speech that included a message from DCA’s Executive Chairman, Roy Wong. Roy began by thanking all the guests for their attendance and ongoing support. He spoke about their new alliance with DXN Limited. It was now time to cut the cake, and everyone joined in to sing DCA a very happy birthday.
Natalie wrapped up with special mention to Megaport now being available at the DCA facility and invited guests to upcoming events: the ACS WA Dennis Moore Oration & 1962 Awards; and the AASQA CoderDojo Presentation Day.
As a take-home gift, guests again got to bottle their own DCA Brew and take home a 6-pack.
The night carried on and guests and team members of DCA mingled and sung along to classic Aussie hits, while Albert stole the show with some karaoke.
