DCA celebrates Lantern Festival on the Swan
DC ALLIANCE CELEBRATES LUNAR NEW YEAR’S LANTERN FESTIVAL!
DC Alliance celebrated the Lantern Festival on February 26th 2021, it being the last day of the 15 day Lunar New Year.
Before kicking off our Lunar New Year celebrations we also included Catamaran sailing on the Swan River.
DC Alliance went through Funcats for the Catamaran sailing experience. The sailing was fun and an experience to remember. After sailing, guests adjourned for drinks and canapes at The Boatshed Restaurant.
To end the night the Yaolin Kung Fu Association put on some amazing entertainment by performing a Lion Dance Ceremony on the Perth Foreshore.
AUTISM ACADEMY FOR SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE (AASQA)
We have chosen the AASQA as our long term charity. This particular academy thrives to develop skills in the IT industry with children and young adults with autism. With training, education and mentoring programmes, the AASQA hopes to achieve long term employment placement whilst also teaching businesses about autism.
Pictured below is Prof. Tele Tan, not only is he the deputy head of Curtin University, he is also the director of AASQA. Tele was kind enough to join us at our Lunar New Year event to give a short speech on the AASQA and also accepted red packet donations from DC Alliance and its guests.
