“Grab a coffee on us!” - DC Alliance at the 2021 WA IT Leadership Summit
DC Alliance had the pleasure of sponsoring the WA IT Leadership Summit this year, and the event’s coffee cart.
The coffee cart proved to be ever so popular among all attendees at the event, The Westin’s barista, Hong, worked non-stop. Some attendees were on their 5th cup by the end of the day! As attendees lined up for their morning coffee next to DCA’s exhibit, team members Albert, Natalie, Renee and Montana, took the opportunity to introduce themselves and have a friendly chat. DCA’s exhibit consisted of many goodies including custom tumblers, bouncy balls, and caps, and the perfect coffee pairing - chocolate.
Attendees spent most of their two days inside the conference room hearing technology leaders sharing their insights into connecting technology to business transformation. Event sponsors took this time to themselves to get to know their neighbours and catch up with some familiar faces. Pictured above with the team is Ha Trinh from FPT Software, a sponsor who neighboured DCA in last year’s event, and braved this year’s event on her own. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea saw the hustle and bustle begin as attendees poured out of the conference room to get a pick at The Westin’s catering, which did not disappoint.
After a long first day at the event, sponsors and attendees got to let their hair down at the event’s dinner. Artist, Trevor, provided the evening’s entertainment, getting everyone into a song and dance. The first day already had people eager for the next one.
Day two rolled around and the line for the coffee cart began to stack up again. Attendees who didn’t get a chance to say hello on day one visited DCA’s stand. Albert and Natalie chatted to attendees throughout the day about their needs and pain points and locked in tours of the DCA facility for those interested in learning more.
The end of the day came around and it was time to draw the Business Card Drop prizes. Everyone had a laugh when three people each won two prizes from different prize draws! For DCA’s prize, they gave three lucky winners each a bottle of local Western Australian wine (our ‘stay local’ theme).
DCA would like to thank everyone’s participation and the Business Insights Asia Pacific (BIAP) team for hosting a great event.
