DCA's 2YO party!
Last Thursday DC Alliance (DCA) celebrated our second anniversary at the Broken Hill Hotel | Victoria Park. The team at DCA celebrated this milestone with our amazing clients, partners and friends, enjoying food, drinks and live music.
Guests enjoyed delicious food prepared by the team at the Broken Hill Hotel, with soft acoustics from local brand Prospect Road, as well as an amazing cake prepared by the team at the Riverton Farmers Market with a personalised cake topper from Craft Me Pretty! DC Alliance staff were handing out red packets which are traditionally given during holidays or special occasions, to hint at our Singaporean roots.
This year’s milestone was extra special as it was the first trip of our whole board to Perth since the acquisition in 2020! A special mention to our new friends Kavin Wong and Jessica Ho from Data Center First (DCF) in Singapore, Widjaja Suki from NetLink Trust Singapore, Sheng Yeo, Navdeep Saini and Daniel Pfeiffer from OrionVM Sydney and San Francisco.
Our Sales Lead, Natalie Parker kicked off the speeches with an acknowledgement of country and introduced our Executive Chairman Roy Wong. Roy thanked our partners, clients and guests for joining us for this important milestone, before announcing the special gift all our guests would be taking home that evening (the present found in the red packets), DC Alliance’s 2nd anniversary NFT collection!
The DCA NFT collection is the first of its kind in the data centre industry, inspired by the well-known ‘cloud’ infrastructure that is the focus of DCA’s next phase of growth, each NFT will be an animated cloud with elements of DCA’s corporate branding. The game for the evening was the DCA Mystery Boxes! There were four mystery boxes located throughout the venue with the themes Supporting Local Industry, Grow With Us, Indonesia and a Random box for fun!
Congratulations to our winners, Nora Saaid from CCIWA who guessed Brew U Cans in the Supporting Local Industry box, Peter Zhou from S5 System who guessed a Plant in the Grow With Us Box, Rev Dwitama from Pentanet who gussed Mi Goreng Noodles in the Indonesia box, and of course our special guest Jimmy Wong from our beneficiary charity AASQA who guessed Orbeez in the Random box. We hope you all enjoy your prizes!
