In her address, SJ explored the profound shifts brought about by generative AI, emphasising how this technology is fundamentally different from traditional AI systems, with its ability to create content, models, and insights at unprecedented speeds and scales.

SJ discussed how generative AI has democratised access to advanced tools, enabling organisations and individuals to innovate rapidly. However, this accessibility also introduces risks such as bias, intellectual property challenges, and the emergence of "stealth AI"—AI systems that bypass organisational oversight. She pointed out the dangers of unchecked AI usage, including legal and ethical vulnerabilities, and stressed the importance of understanding these risks to safeguard businesses.

Drawing on her global experience, SJ shared insights from recent engagements, including discussions with top executives about AI governance and compliance.
